Today we continued on our videos. I have imported most of my pictures, i just have to for homework make some anime picture tutorials on how to draw anime. Im really looking forward to continuing because i like anime a lot and i want to get comments from people on how good i draw and what i have to improve on.

Today we started doing the photo story 3 video. I have decided to do it on anime, because its a hobbie i enjoy doing. This is just practise, after we finish this, we will make another one for our project, about where we come from. I havent really gotten far as i took some time on what the practise video i will be doing it about. But the advantage is that i have a lot of images of anime, so i can skip that stage. But i will have to choose pictures for my video, and i will have to add music and narrative.

Today, we continued our investigation and i finished it. However the printer didnt work so i still have to print it. Now i started on the tutorial, i havent really gotten to the middle yet, but i know what we are doing and know what i will be doing the video about.

Today we continued working on our investigation and im almost finished. Im finishing question 8 (the last question) and then i will have to add a few footnotes and add a few finishing touches. I was really glad i saved my work, as the computer was updating, and then it had to restart so i didnt lose my work. Half the lesson today we played games as it was thursday, spring festival.

Today, we continued our investigation, i havent really gotten far as i am on question 4 and there are 8 questions or something, but im basically on question 5. We learnt how to put a video from youtube on our blog... and we after started to play games!! ^_^

Today we found out about what subject our video should be about, and our teacher Miss. Dietrich decided to do it on our countrie. I decided i wanted to do it about Holland as my mum comes from there, and i was sort of interested in it, although originally i come from Portugal. Today we didnt yet start our research on the digital story telling, we had to answer questions about digital story telling. I like almost half way through the questions, and im hoping we can finish it next lesson.

Today, we discussed what we were going to do for this term. We discussed about the last terms, and what they did.... and our teacher said we would be doing a digital story... (a video) but we still havent decided on the topic. Our teacher thought of the subject being Humanities, and said that we have to reasearch to make our video. The video should be maximum 2 minutes.

Work Diary 12/11/07

Today, I was working on my Project, and still haven't really got anywhere. I have finally finished my introduction, but still worried if its OK. I moved on to my investigation which I am struggling with, as Im still starting and nowhere to finishing this project! I am not feeling so good, and I am stressed to finish it on time. I dont really get the project, like what to write there, and if its OK, and if im supposed to write this... i think you get my point. I hope it goes well in the end and hand it in on time.

Today I continued my investigation and and i am 10% done! Its due on the 23rd and I am very nervous if I can make it. I am in the middle of the introduction and more less starting my investigation which is all over the place! Ive decided to this assignement again and do it properly.
Im almost finished with my introduction and so thats an okay start. But i think i need to put more effort in it, and so this lunch break i will going to the computers and try to finish atleast until my investigation.

Today I continued my project, and Ive decided to make a wardrobe. I chose a wardrobe because i thought of a 3D shape, and that was the first one on my mind. Im thinking of making a sort of bedroom wardrobe, with a picture of clothes inside one of the open drawers. I thought of making a very nice color for the wardrobe....

Today we started Sketchup again, and i moved on to the second video tutorial. I learned how to make a cube, how to make a circle, a triangle, a rectangle. I also learned how to make a curve on the edges of rectangles and cubes. I learned how to make for example a circle or triangle.... in 3d. I also learned how to move around on the screen.

But there is a lot to learn!

Sketchup Tutorial 18/10/07

Today we first watched a tutorial video about how to use sketchup, but I didnt manage to finish watching all the tutorials are very slow, i didnt manage to watch the whole of the first one! So i just moved on and did what i saw on the tutorial. It wasnt hard and i really thought sketchup is fascinating! You can make a house and then use this tool to look anywhere you like, you can look under the house you can look above it, around...... and you can also make a drawer, or at least thats what it looks like.
I still dont know what i want but i think i want something unusual.

Poster 11/10/07

Today we made a poster in Stone Cold, which is a book written by the author Robert Swindells. We are reading it in English lessons which we are half way through. Its quite a good book about Link, this teen that runs away from home because Vince his stepfather hates him and beats him up bad. So hes alone, not much money, no home, no parent to say your doing very well with living on your own and no job.

So he starts off by getting some money from his older sister which is going pretty well indeed. So he sets foot of his city to London and starts to live his miserable life....

After that he meets Ginger, another homeless mate who is much older than Link. They start to work together and try to earn some money.

Then there is Shelter, he hates homeless people and has a plan to wipe off all of them away. And he will come to them as ginger disappears.

Link then meets a girl older than him and they try and work together like before,

but that's when i stopped reading!

I really liked making the Poster and it was hard because its not really happy Poster with lots of colours, its more dark and mysterious!

Today we had another test, an excell test. It was a bit confusing but I managed it. Im almost finished with it, i only had to do one little thing on the tutorial. After i finished i was supposed to have a word test, but i guess i wasnt quick enough.

Work Diary 01/10/07

Today I finished the excell tutorials, and I thought the last tutorial was the hardest. I found it very boring, and easy.... (hard on the last one, 3rd tutorial).
I started on Sketchup and I have to watch about 5 videos about it and im only on half of the first video. So Im not going far but Im one of the 5th in the class that has started in Sketchup. I think, I still dont know, but by the looks of it, it is very complicated, but I guess i will get used to it (I hope).

20/09/07 Work Diary

Today i finished 1st and 2nd practice and next lesson we will be moving on to 3rd practice. It wasnt so hard but you did have to read the instructions carefully, and sometimes i didnt know what everything meant and also i couldnt find everything. I do like word 2007 more because it has more interesting things and it is easier to find stuff.
